One thing I am extremely passionate about is youth theater education. At the end of last year I was approached alongside my friend by the producer at my local theater company. She handed off the youth program to the two of us, producing shows for the 8 -17 age group based on children's literature.

The main problem we faced was that we couldn't find any good scripts! We needed something shorter (between a 60 and 90 minutes) and more suitable for younger kids who couldn't pay attention for that long. So, I began to write adaptations myself!
